Susan received her Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Conservation from the University of New Hampshire, and Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She is currently practicing medicine as an associate provider in the orthopaedics department at Dartmouth Hitchcock Keene Clinic in New Hampshire. Prior to practicing medicine as an associate provider Susan worked as a customer service representative for an environmental firm, a business development manager at a biotech firm, and a national sales manager for a small business. She has also taught as an adjunct faculty member at Keene State College.

She is compassionate to the human condition and has led medical missionary trips to Haiti, and currently serves on the Board of Hundred Nights, Inc. a homeless shelter in Keene. In her spare time she enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, biking, and jogging with her dog. Susan was introduced to the Kokal Farm and HorseTenders Mustang Foundation whereupon she discovered another passion, the legendary American Mustang. Her enthusiasm for human wellbeing parallel her desire for mustang wellbeing, and she is excited to support and promote programs of mutual discovery for both.
