HorseTenders LLC is a family run and operated business that promotes strong core values. The Kokal Family runs the business together capitalizing on the synergy that arises from varying talents and areas of expertise. Everyone has their own field of expertise and no one is immune from cleaning stalls or paddocks!
We have traveled throughout the US, Canada, South America, and Europe, in our efforts to educate ourselves about horses. We have extensively studied, researched and developed easy to understand, distinctive, and proven wholesome natural training approaches and methodologies that includes the varying aspects of each individual horse and owner. We inform, educate, and tell our customers the truth about natural horsemanship and encourage both owners and horses to unite as naturally as possible to develop lasting bonds of mutual trust and respect.
Our unique nationally and internationally recognized and acclaimed HorseTenders “Developing Mettle without Metal” ™ training approaches and methodologies are proven to consistently and successfully train both horse and owner. We strongly support the horse’s right not to have metal in its mouth, spurs used to stab its sides or shoes to artificially balance him. HorseTenders Horsemanship defines, and then integrates owners and their individual horse’s natural learning style and ability to facilitate training.
HorseTenders LLC promotes natural wholesome horsemanship by providing a full complement of services ranging from fully customized natural horse training, natural barefoot Trimming, extensive Farrier & Therapeutic Shoeing, and Equine Dentistry services, to include our own Veterinarian. We are passionate about providing exceptional expertise to offer a unique level of consistency to meet every need any horse and owner may need. We provide constructive insights to both horse and owner on all aspects of the horse physically, emotionally, and mentally. Our “Wholesome Horse” approach eliminates the mixed signals and confusion resulting from too many differing and inconsistent methodologies coming in contact with both the horse and owner.
HorseTenders has spanned the globe presenting clinics, demonstrations, and presentations. To name a few…..we were Featured Clinicians at the prestigious Calgary Stampede (The Greatest Outdoor Show in the World) in Calgary, Canada for two consecutive years, featured speakers at the renowned Equine Welfare Alliance International Symposium held at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky, and presented a Clinic & training with Lipizaner horses in Slovenija. We offer various clinics throughout our region, across the U.S., and abroad, upon request. We also offer clinics at our farm and gladly work with clients that bring their horses to us in Greenfield, NH. We greatly enjoy the privilege of being able to learn about you and your horse. We then incorporate those insights to develop a personalized training plan to maximize benefit to both horse and owner.
