Bonfire

Bonfire

This strawberry roan mustang was adopted when he was one year old. He was given up to HorseTenders at the age of two. He didn’t thrive his first year, resulting from well intentioned, but poorly managed, nutrition. Upon arrival at HorseTenders, he was restored to a grass and hay diet where he quickly flourished. Bonfire now stands 14.3 hands and he has been under saddle for a year now.

He’s good on trails, strong with sturdy “mustang legs” and would make an excellent endurance horse. He’s always ready to go, but not “hot”–he won’t act out if you want to go slow. Bonfire would also be a great family horse. He is a good boy–no vices, a sweet and happy nature, and actively looking for his own forever home. He greets every visitor, asking, ‘Are you my forever partner?!’ He wants to go home with someone that will make him their favorite horse.
